Biography

Shannon understands that the positive results she consistently achieves for her divorce and family law clients are the products of persistent preparation. In addition to her professional pursuits, Shannon has been engaged with community activities throughout the greater Salem area. Shannon has been heavily involved with local bar association activities, having served as President of the Marion County Bar Association. She is on the Marion County Family Law Advisory Committee, as well as the executive committee of the Oregon State Bar Family Law Section. Shannon has worked with the Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion and Polk Counties to secure funding for its Teen Court Programs and has guest lectured through the Early College/High School Teen Parent Program where she spoke about custody, parenting time, and child support.

Shannon’s consistent volunteerism through Marion-Polk Legal Aid Services of Oregon resulted in her receipt of the Arno Denecke New Lawyer of the Year Award shortly after she joined Saucy & Snow.
